Some more

Let us start with a thought. If the Marketing Fair that is managed by a committee called CAXI is called CAXI Fair, why isn't the SIP and CRP called Placekom SIP and Placekom CRP?

But, it will be wrong also. Till last year, CAXI at least tried to bring research problems. Even though it was shabby (live project by TMH :P), they at least tried to find time out of their busy fraxing schedules. But this year, it was made clear in the audit gbm, CAXI's role was only to manage the logistics, scheduling and organising.

By that logic, should not the placements be known as 'Controls, Logs and Services CRP' and 'Controls, Logs and Services SIP".

It is a matter of great shame that CAXI has to resort to Whistle blower V2. They just make the sins of others mentioned so that their sins might be forgiven. Is this ever possible? And who is crying foul of transparency? The committee that gives no accounts whatsoever of the Fair. We were told that each company gave 80000 rs. for the problem. Now, if we are handling everything that includes talking to company representative, researching and reporting, shouldn't we given an account of where did the 80000 go? In hookahs?

Comparing yourself to unofficial committees on the campus i.e. SPAXI, OMAXI, ECT! O God!!! That's what you have stooped yourself to...

'Another first by CAXI' is becoming a joke. Marketing Fair wasn't your first. It was Prof. sharad sarin's first. You just hijacked it. Someone should have listened to the utter pain of Prof. Sarin: "I don't know how the Marketing Fair became CAXI Fair".

You know what's another first by CAXI? Answer- Audit GBM of a secretary. Shameful.

Look at the status messages of the CAXI people. First they were trying to draw attention towards the 'last class of BM A/B." Since when these heartless fellows start caring this much about their section? I will tell you. Only after they were raped by us and they wanted to draw attention away from us. You will not succeed, evil souls.

And then they started caring for the juniors. A CAXI status message is mentioning "@Juniors: Please ignore the whistle blowers from our batch. I am utterly sorry you had to see this. We're actually not as bad as all that" Oho...why are you bothered about your impression on the juniors only and not the seniors? Because the seniors know all about you.

The committee elctions were a farce. Nobody wanted these jokers in. There was a lack of candidates. The committee was so badly exposed that it took two rounds of elections to select the committee members.

NOBODY WANTS TO BELL THE CAT. NOBODY WANTS TO QUESTION THE PAIN-SEC ABOUT WHY THE COMMITTEE'S SECRETARY ELECTION DID NOT HAPPENED. WHY?

Corrupt Association of XI

How it starts- This committee puts up a notice 'CAXI welcomes the juniors to XLRI" on the notice board of The Father Enright Residence to be the first committee that is noticed by the juniors. Other notice boards are empty. This gives an impression that CAXI is different. Surprisingly, that alotted piece of notice board is never used again by the committee ever.

How it builds up-

1. The committee introduction is showing the same video that was made 15 years ago and is being repeated year by year. For people who claim to champion the cause of marketing in the campus, you can be a little more creative, don't you think? The video uses techniques like word-zoom that gives the committee a larger than life image.

2. The CAXI bazaar tries to involve the entire senior batch. Clever move, CAXI. Again, rites of passage for the juniors they think it is the biggest event in XLRI that has prizes in thousands and involvement from so many seniors. It is here that committees like creasent and feenex lose their brand equity because CAXI gains it. The format is so cleverly designed that it shows the CAXI members to be superhumans while the rest of the seniors as a bunch of jokers. The senior batch actively partcipates because:

a. They have just become seniors. As juniors, no one understands the roots of CAXI and so does not hate it.
b. Interesting format of the event
c. Interaction with the juniors.

Everyone is fooled and the only one that gains is CAXI, which very subtly slots the event before SACK allows committee applications. Once the applications open, the buzz is created and the committee attains the image.

Finally: The Marketing Fair, dubbed as CAXI fair, was started as an elective for disguised research. CAXI slowly slowly made it into a CAXI fair and assumed supernormal responsibilites. It was punctured in Marketing Fair 2011 where it ended with an audit GBM.

This is how the committee steers ahead of the others. But then what happened this year brought into light everything.....

a. Committee secretary elections were a farce. On one hand was the foul mouthed (belted this exam again) show-off status message loving fake and on the other hand, was this 'politically connected' in the good books individual who seemed like he is the silent worker. Truth is no one worked. Because there was no work. The only big event was the CAXI fair which was managed in the most abysmal manner. The researchers were treated so badly they used to be given 2 packets of chips for 20 students while the CAXI team and the CAXI admin team had unstopping supply.

b. Half of the members from the last year's team did not stand for reelection!

c. AUDIT GBM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Using the CAXI id, the projects were brought only to be distributed among themselves and making the team leads. The audit gbm was also a sham. The two biggest culprits were the secretary and "SPOC-CAXI Fair" who escaped scot-free. He has a history of chickening out at the last moment from the group projects or any job. Here also, he should have resigned but he didn't.

d. The CAXI secretary elections never happened again. The Pain-Sec had promised reelection soon but they never hapened. How could they happen? If a new secretary would be appointed, all the live projects that CAXI brings from companies and distributes among themselves would be exposed. This would bring an end to their evil plans. So they chose a SPOC with the most clean image and conducted CAXI fair in the most surreptitious manner.

Sab-fire hone chahiye

XLRI is thought as Asia's no.1 B-school in HR. And the committee/society for the 'development'/'upliftment' of HR is called Sab-fire.

The Secretary of this committee is a firebrand leader who invoked great hopes and aspirations in the committee elections. And then finally resorted to the chick-committee thing only when it came to selcting the juniors. What has the team done till now, except the HUL workshop, about which the lesser we speak, the better off we are.
